These eggs were hand carved into the egg shape from raw kisii soapstone by local men in Western Kenya. They then smooth the surface and use mostly natural dyes from minerals, vegetables, berries, charcoal and roots before etching the different designs. This egg features a Lion, we have eggs that have other African Wildlife. Since they are handmade, no two eggs look exactly alike. Like the egg stand?
